George's has been in Lonsdale Quay for 30 years and for good reason. The extensive menu is authentic Greek cuisine: simply prepared, clear ingredients, generous portions, always delicious. It's popular so be patient and line up because it's food worth waiting for.
The baklava is pure decadence. The serving is ginormous, the sugar level is probably lethal but it's so delicious. Want extra honey? No problem and takeout veterans bring their own container with tight lid so honey doesn't flow everywhere. -

Really good food. I had the vegetarian plate. They were out of the garbanzo beans so they substituted greek salad. Everything was Amazing. The tabouleh was very similar to my own homemade. And the hummus and tzadziki were some of the best I've ever had. Which leads me toy one complaint: they just give you barely a tablespoon or two of each. There's plenty of food, so I didn't go hungry, but really would have liked more hummus.

Greek on the go at decent prices = hells yes. Always served with a smile. Prices are market value and very filling. I love their veggie dishes and potatoes. During lunch time this place has a long line up.

Went to George's looking for some more affordable Greek food, just had a craving for calamari and didn't want to pay $20 down the road. Was a bit shocked at the prices right off the bat, $14 for a Calamari plate with rice. We decided to go with it anyway, since I know that George's has been around for a long time so it must be amazing.
It wasn't.
Rice was scooped, cold, out of the fridge and into the microwave. Right in front of us. Came out as expected for microwaved rice, unevenly warmed. Calamari had too much breading, no seasoning. Tzatziki was very strange texture, tasted okay but texture was off.
Honestly, this wouldn't have been a 1-star review if not for the price. $14 is insane for basically poor foodcourt food. Hopefully other food is better but our experience was very disappointing. -

I just went to pick up a falafel pita, which was $9.45 with tax. The sign said it came with lettuce, tomato, red onion, hummus, and tzatziki. When I opened it up, it was just 3 cold falafel balls, some lettuce and tzatziki. Pretty disappointing. Would not go back.
